Basics

A clear headshot or band photo. Keep it under ~300 KB.

Your ZIP powers gigs within 50 miles of you and distance-based search. It's never shown publicly.

Links & video

Drop in a YouTube clip of you playing plus your socials — artists love to see you in action before they reach out.

Musician details

Worth protecting? Most home policies stop covering gear once you're paid to play — here's what instrument insurance covers.

🎼 Musical Director services

Do you also put shows together — hiring the band, running rehearsals, and handling the music for a visiting artist? Many artists travel solo and look for a local MD in each city to pull the whole thing off. Turn this on to show up when they search.

A couple of sentences on the cities you cover and what you handle. This shows on your profile.

Referrals & experience

This is what gets you hired — who you've played with and who can vouch for you.

Add anyone who can vouch for you — name, what they do, and a way to reach them. Contact details are shown only to signed-in members so an artist can verify you. They're never public.

Getting paid

List the apps you accept so a band can pay you fast after a show. These are shown only to an artist who has booked you — never public. WhoNeedsAGig doesn't process payments; you're paid directly by the artist.

Artist / organizer details

This tailors your dashboard. Theaters see “My Residencies” (no tour/venue-shopping clutter); a show can still go on tour when needed.
